Major fire damages army corps' headquarters in Srinagar

fire_350_041313091848A fire damaged the high security Badami Bagh headquarters of the army's 15 Corps in Srinagar on Saturday evening, army spokesperson said.


The spokesman said that the fire broke out in one of the barracks inside the headquarters.


"Fire fighting operations are on. It appears to be an accidental fire, but the exact cause would be found out after the fire fighting operations are completed," the spokesman said.
