Bangalore: Karnataka Janata Paksha supremo and former Karnataka chief minister, B. S Yeddyurappa on Saturday released the party's election manifesto and promised to work in the interest of the state. Yeddyurappa while addressing the mediapersons in Bangalore slammed the central government for its apathy towards the state. Yeddyurappa was forced to quit from the post of the Chief Minister last year after the Lokayukta indicted him in cases if illegal mining, nepotism and other irregularities in land allotment. The political situation in the state worsened after 13 legislators tendered their resignation from the state assembly in the month of January. The BJP's strength in the 224-member assembly is 120. While main opposition Congress has 71 legislators and Janata Dal (Secular) has 26 legislators.
