Dorjee Khandu's missing chopper: What led to the confusion?

NDTV Correspondent, Updated: May 01, 2011 15:39 IST :::: Itanagar: A helicopter carrying Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu and four other people, which went missing on Saturday morning, has still not been found.

But on Saturday afternoon, the CM's office and Governor JJ Singh confirmed that the missing chopper had landed safely in Bhutan. These reports were, however, denied later.

NDTV has got exclusive details of a letter by the Inspector General of Police, Arunachal Pradesh, which elaborates upon what led to this confusion.
